625 Club
What is it?
625 is a club for primary aged local children. We play games, sing, learn about Jesus, do crafts, have team competitions and much, much more. It’s loads of fun!
Sounds good...when and where is it on?
We meet Tuesday nights during term time, from 6.25-7.45pm.
During the summer we finish mid June and start back again in September.
We meet in the Church hall.
Does it cost anything?
Each child brings 50p to the club each week. 20p is an offering, and 30p allows them to buy tuck.
What else happens?
Every year we have a day away for the children aged 5-7 years. In the past we’ve been to Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride and Summerlee Heritage Park in Coatbridge. The day away is usually in May and the leaders love them as much as the children!
We also have an annual weekend away which the older children are invited to. This is usually in a Scripture Union site called Lendrick Muir near Kinross (around one hour from Glasgow). There are loads of outdoor activities, such as a ropes course, biking and adventure golf. Plus we do other games, Bible teaching and usually have a movie night. (There is a cost to the weekend).
Lastly, we have a Christmas and a Summer Open Night. The Open Nights are great fun and we invite the children’s parents, grannies, guardians, uncles, dogs...ok, no dogs, but everyone else is welcome. At Christmas we usually do a wee nativity, plus there’s singing and sometimes even an activity for the adults. At Summer the children have a prize giving, plus singing and again usually something for the adults to join in with, like a quiz.

For more information please contact the Church Office on 0141 332 9870 and ask for your child’s details to be added to the 625 waiting list. Alternatively use this online form.
Gillian or Colin, the 2 leaders, will then contact you to let you know whether there’s space to join us straight away, or if they need to stay on the waiting list.
