Leadership & Staff

Pastor Michael Healy was born and educated in County Wicklow, Southern Ireland. After prep school he attended Glenstal Abbey in County Limerick. His heart was first stirred towards the Lord at the age of sixteen. It was not until he was in his early twenties that he committed his life to Jesus. After leaving school he worked for a time in business and also spent a year in the Royal Hong Kong Police! At the age of twenty-nine he went to the Belfast Bible College where he studied for three years. It was there that the Lord led Michael and Anne together. During his time at College he spent two months with SIM in Nigeria. Anne who comes from Carrickfergus in County Antrim, spent six years working as a dental nurse and receptionist before going to the Belfast Bible College for three years. Anne also spent two months working with SIM in Ghana.
After College, Michael and Anne worked with Hamilton Road Baptist Church in Bangor, Northern Ireland. In 1986 the Lord led them to take up the Pastorate of Horham Baptist Church, Suffolk, where they served for eight years. They have three boys, Kyle, David, and Jonathan.
Michael and Anne came to Findlay Memorial in 1994. The Church has changed considerably during Michael & Anne’s ministry. While there is still a mission focus, God has enabled the Church to begin serving the community in life changing ways and are blessed to have a large number of capable, committed and creative volunteers. Michael and Anne are looking to the Lord to lead the Church family into the future.
