We enjoy sincere worship in our services with gifted musicians and singers who lead the praise, singing modern songs and traditional hymns rich in doctrine and truth.
In the FAQ section which follows we have tried to cover many of the questions which you may have, but if there is other information you need please feel free to contact us at the Church Office.

Can I get help with life issues?
Yes we provide help with debt, relationship, parenting and spiritual issues, furthermore, we run english, art and cooking classes etc. Please see our need help pages for details.
I have been on a Sunday. Now what?
If you are not a Christian yet consider attending an Alpha course or joining in a Fellowship or Youth group of which there are many. If you feel that’s not for you then just come into the Office and chat to one of our staff. If you are already a Christian then one of the Fellowship groups might be what you’re looking for.
What do I do if my child is noisy during the service?
If your child noisy, please do not worry. Children are an important part of our church family and we understand children cannot be expected to be quiet all the time, but please also be sensitive to others around you. If you feel uncomfortable then please feel free to use the creche facilities while the morning service is on. Alternatively, you could use one of the side rooms until your child has settled.
Why do some lift their hands during singing?
There are many different reasons people give for this but the main one is that it is an additional form of worship and praise to God. It is not a requirement but you should not feel embarrassed if you are moved to do it.
What time should I arrive on Sunday?
There is normal time and there is Findlay time in other words come and go when you want, but we would prefer it if you were seated just prior to the start times of 11am and 6.30pm.
What is your worship service like?
Michael our Pastor preaches at most services and usually follows through a series either on a book from the Bible or a particular theme.
We are privileged to have a number of gifted musicians and singers in the fellowship. Services are normally led by one of the worship teams and although many of the newer modern songs are popular, we also sing traditional hymns rich in doctrine and truth.
There is a children’s talk near the beginning of the service, normally given by one of our youth team. After this talk the children leave the main service and go to their various groups. Please visit our youth section for more details.
The services last approximately 75mins with an additional 10 to 15mins if it’s a Communion service. Folks are given the opportunity to leave prior to Communion taking place but those who believe and are followers of Christ are welcome to take part.
During the service we will uplift an offering but please feel under no obligation to give. Just pass the offering bag along.
Refreshments after the service?
Free refreshments are usually available after the evening service plus you can buy a cappuccino and a Panini etc from our cafe at a very reasonable cost (cappuccino £1).
Will I be made welcome?
Yes you will. We have a team of people who welcome you as you come in, plus we try and look out for new faces to ensure someone talks to you. However, if you slip through the net please say to the nearest person that you are new here and they will point you in the right direction.
What facilities do you have for children?
Child facilities include baby changing toilet, Crèche for 0-3 year olds and Discoverers for 3-11 year olds during the Sunday services. During the week there is a mum's and toddler group called Bumps & Bundles. We also run activity clubs for primary age children called the 625 Club and Rock Solid for 11 - 18 year olds. The Church operates a Child Protection Policy and all our adults who work with young children have been disclosed.
What should I wear?
Wear what you are comfortable with. There is no dress code.
Are there disabled facilities?
Yes there is free access, disabled toilet, flexible seating plus a loop facility for the hard of hearing. We use a large projection screen for all our hymns and for the sermon. We also have large print song books available but unfortunately we do not have Braille books.
Is there parking?
Yes there is bay parking in the local streets which is free at the weekends but please be considerate towards our neighbours.
Arriving by public transport
Local Bus stops are opposite our door and St George’s Cross tube station is a 2 minute walk. You will see the Church when you climb the steps from the tube (look towards Sevenoaks HiFi). More details can be found here.
